Dissident Arrested AGAIN in Hong Kong

Voice of America News reports that activist Joshua Wong was arrested Sept. 24, 2020, “for taking part in a protest at the height of the city’s pro-democracy unrest last year, but he vowed to continue resisting China’s crackdown on dissent.” According to the article from VOA News, Mr. Wong now faces three separate court cases.

Voice of America News is also reporting that relatives of some of the Hongkongers arrested by China at sea in August 2020, were demanding that their city’s government “ensure that lawyers appointed by the families and not the Chinese government” be given an opportunity to meet with the arrestees.
