Activist Arrested Outside U.S. Consulate

The New York Times reports that activist Tony Chung was arrested “outside the United States consulate just as he was about to seek asylum.” Mr. Chung had previously been arrested in July 2020. At that time he was accused of posting a message on social media about a police party that was calling for Hong Kong’s independence.
